On the afternoon of 16/12/2010 a Severe storm warning was issued for the Sydney Metro. I thought this was a run of the mill storm including a little thunder, lightning and rain. I was wrong. I was watching Twitter and Facebook and I was reading various report of rather decent sized hail coming down ranging from marble to golf ball size. Oh crap went through my mind. I passed the word on to several people to put cars away and bunker down. When it hit, it hit hard. it was 15 minutes of solid hail down pour. If it was a week later we could of had a white Christmas.
